Ever wonder why (and how) some websites have the perfect image that appears along with the link in your Twitter news feed? It’s because they’ve set-up what’s known as Twitter cards – media that helps attract people to your website.

Twitter cards can take the form of images, video and other types of media. There are also a few different types of Twitter cards that you can read about here. Essentially, you’re adding some visual interest to your tweets, and we all know that having good visuals is so important.
