Digital Marketing Assistant (Part Time)

Reports To: President

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time, sub-contractor position estimated to be 20 hours per week. This position will work virtually.

Description: We are looking for a savvy marketing specialist to help execute marketing strategies and assist with campaign development. Candidates must have a knack and love for writing and all things digital marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of how their work supports overarching business goals.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Market client products/services by implementing digital marketing campaigns.
  2. Write various types of content on a range of topics. Sustain the client’s voice across various platforms.
  3. Publish content on WordPress websites, via email and on social media.
  4. Create graphics in Canva using templates from our graphics team.
  5. Support the creation of content calendars that attract the target audience.
  6. Utilize internal communicate tools such as Slack to keep all team members updated on the status of projects and campaigns.
  7. Continually develop a working knowledge of the marketing industry’s top communication tools. Understand how these tools can best be utilized in a marketing campaign to achieve results.

Requirements

  • At least one year of digital marketing experience.
  • Proven work experience producing content for social media, blogs, email marketing, and other digital content.
  • A strong working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools including but not limited to WordPress, MailChimp, Facebook, etc.

Digital Marketing Operations Manager (Part Time)

Reports To: President

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a part-time, sub-contracted position estimated to be 20 hours per week. This position will work virtually.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Description: We are looking for a data-driven marketing professional to oversee the implementation of marketing strategies and analyze the effectiveness of each campaign. The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining client relationships and creating effective strategies that will ensure long-term growth for clients.

Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day implementation of client marketing and advertising campaigns.
  2. Actively maintain internal project calendars and employee availability for accurate timeline forecasting.
  3. Partner with different departments to ensure work is completed according to requirements.
  4. Ensure team members have all the necessary information to complete tasks.
  5. Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing marketing data.
  6. Clearly communicate status updates and campaign recommendations to clients during weekly/monthly/quarterly meetings and conference calls.
  7. Suggest creative ways to increase brand awareness for clients.
  8. Periodically update client marketing strategies and content calendars to best communicate the key messages.
  9. Report and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  10. As a life-long learner, continually develop a working knowledge of the marketing industry’s top communication tools. Understand how these tools can best be utilized in a marketing campaign to achieve results.
  11. Utilize internal communicate tools such as Slack to keep all employees updated on the status of projects and campaigns.
  12. Support sales staff by providing insight on up-sell opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience.
  • Proven work experience with multi-channel marketing campaigns with concrete results.
  • A strong working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools including but not limited to WordPress, MailChimp, Moz, Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
